Express FC’s last season Uganda Premier League winning captain, Enoch Walusimbi has spoken positive ahead of new season which kick start tomorrow on Friday, 15th October and he thinks that they are ready to retain their title they won last season.
Walusimbi who is fresh from national team duties after fully participating in Uganda’s double header victory in the FIFA world Cup Qualifiers games last, he is bouyant that they will use the experience they got from Cecafa, Continent and last season to win games and possibly retain the trophy.
Ahead of tomorrow’s game were they are going to take on new league entrants Arua Hills SC, he has said they have prepared well for the game.
“Tomorrow’s game, we are ready for tomorrow’s game the boys are ready, we have been training very hard, we have got new entanten in the team Kasozi [Nicolas], Bukwnya [Deus], Akandwanaho [Joseph]. The boys have trained very hard , every thing is ready for new season, we have been together for one season and half. ” Walusimbi said in a video released by club before adding.
“We have played Cecafa, we have gone to the Continent, I think we are going to use this experience we have got from Cecafa, Continent and from last season so that we can win games so that we can maintain our cup we won last season. ”
The former Bright Stars defender has relished the experience he has got from national team and hope to use it on the team to win .
“And what I know as a player I have got opportunity on the national team, I have played many games this year, I think I will use that towards the team so that we can win.”
