England are in a brilliant position after their commanding 4-0 win over Ukraine and they’ve now won four out of five games at Euro 2020. Southgate has got all the big calls right with his tactical tweaks and confidence must be at an all time high within the England camp. The Three Lions’ stellar defending should be able to keep a good Denmark side at bay and with Kane back in form Southgate’s side are rightful favourites to make it through to the Euro 2020 final in front of the home crowd at Wembley.

Kane has been fantastic for the Three Lions across the last two games. He improved late on against Germany with an 86th minute goal and knocked another two past Ukraine. We know that the Tottenham man is a player who enjoys a purple patch and he looks the best bet to build on this fine record against a Denmark side that have kept just one clean sheet so far at Euro 2020
Luke Shaw to assist anytime (Reason for tip)
Luke Shaw has had an outstanding Euro 2020. His role on left-footed set pieces and involvement in play up the wing have been crucial to England’s attacking play and that shone through best in their 4-0 win over Ukraine where he assisted twice. No England player has created more chances and he’s second overall in the tournament for big chances created so looks a decent bet to add another assist to his tally against Denmark.
Thomas Delaney to be booked (Reason for tip)
Only two players have committed more fouls at Euro 2020 than Denmark’s Thomas Delaney (10). Against a talented England team that like to keep possession and manage a game, Delaney’s temperament could get the better of him. He looks the best bet to end up in the referee’s pocketbook.
Harry Maguire 1+ shot on target (Reason for tip)
Maguire’s aerial threat from set pieces is well known but his effectiveness was no more evident than last game against Ukraine. He managed to find the back of the net with one of his two attempts on target and he also managed two shots (one on target) in the game before that against Germany too. With England expected to dominate proceedings on Wednesday, expect target man Maguire to be on the receiving end of any free kicks or corners against Denmark.
Joakim Maehle 1+ shot on target (Reason for tip)
Maehle is another left back making a statement at Euro 2020. Utilised as a wing back in a 3-4-3 formation, Maehle has not been afraid to get forward, get himself into attacking positions and have a shot on goal – in fact, only forward Martin Braithwaite has taken more shots on goal within the Danish squad. However, his seven on target is the highest among his teammates. Although England like to manage games, opponents haven’t been completely without opportunity, so Maehle looks an appealing price at around 2/1.
