Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Okwi has finally got a club.
Emmanuel Okwi has signed a one year contract with Six times Rwanda Premier League Champions, Kiyovu Football Club.
Okwi has been without a club since his two year contract with Egyptian club Itihad Alexandra got expired in June.
Okwi missed the Cranes double header against Rwanda in the ongoing 2022 FIFA world cup Qualifier games because he didn’t have a club.
Okwi has been heavily linked to join his boyhood club Sports Club Villa but this didn’t come to materialise after failing to agree.
The 29 year old forward has previously played for two Tanzania fierce rivals Simba SC and Young Africans.
