Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) have confirmed dates and venue for the anticipated playoff tie to Fufa Big league pitted between Mbale Heroes against North Jinja United Fc.
Earlier on, reports indicated that the finals were slated to take place on 28th May 2022 in Busia but following the assembly that sat over the weekend confirmed that the final playoffs would be played in Jinja at Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe.
Mbale Heroes FC topped Bukedi group while North Jinja United Fc were winners of Nile group.
So, the winner of the playoffs will be guaranteed a place in next season’s Fufa Big league.
Soroti City FC, the former light SS FC were the first club to earn promotion to Fufa Big league after overcoming Busere FC (1-0) in the North East Regional playoff.
Next season’s Fufa Big league will consist of 16 teams and top three will earn promotion to top flight league.

*Eastern Regional – 3rd June 2022 at Kyabazinga stadium.
*North Region – 5th June 2022 in Omoro
*Western Region 5th June 2022 at Kyamate stadium.
*Kampala Region – 17th June 2022 at Mutesa II stadium .
*Kitara Region – 18th June 2022 at Kadagi
*Buganda Region 19th June 2022 at Masaka Recreational ground.
