Dan Birikwalira, Brian Nkuubi leads pack among players confirmed their exit from Vipers SC.



With the recruiting process still going on at Kitende based club, Vipers Sports Club, several players have also confirmed their exit from the four time league Champions and will not be with the UPL reigning Champions come 2020/21 next season.

Brian Nkuubi, Dan Birikwalira, Derrick Ochan , all have confirmed their departure from the Venoms via their Facebook accounts.

“Thanks for Vipers Sc for the five fruitful years have been with you I shall keep the memories forever.” Wrote, Brian Nkuubi.

“Thanks so much for the fruitful five years I spent I shall keep the memories forever.” Dan Birikwalira rechoed.

“Thanks you Vipers SC for the opportunity and naturing me, its been a blessing working with you for 5 years …..Hebrews 11:11.” Said  Derrick Ochan.

Brian Nkuubi, the defensive midfielder joined Vipers SC from Kiira Young FC ( now defunct) and has won two league titles, 2017/18, 2019/20, one Uganda Cup 2016 and One pilsner Super Cup.

And Dan Birikwalira a left back  has been struggling with injuries and this made him slip in  pecking order at the left backs at the club,  which forced him with loan spells at home land based club Kyetume FC and Bright Stars FC to look for game time.

While a 22 year old goalie, Derrick Ochan, has been understudy of Burundian goal  keeper, Fabian Mutobora,  who is first choice goal keeper

Last season he enyoyed a couple of games including a Uganda Cup loss against Kajjansi United.

Unconfirmed reports coming indicates that also other several players at the Vipers Sc have been shown exit and these includes; Frank Zaga Tumwesigye, Farouk Musisi and Abraham Ndugwa.

Yesterday 19th August 2020, Vipers Sc appointed for FUFA CEO and international referee as their new sporting Director.
