Cheptegey is confident of breaking Bekeles’ world record at 10,000 meters

Ugandan long-distance runner Joshua Chepteigey is confident to striking Kenenisa Bekele’s world record at 10,000 meters in Valencia, Spain.

Cheptegey will try to make history on October 7 at the Turia Stadium after breaking the world record 5,000 million in Monaco in mid-August this year.

Since arriving in Spain, the 24-year-old has been preparing for shows alongside Dutchman Royce Hoornweg, Australian Ryan Gregson and Kenyan Nicola Klimelli.
