Morocco, After becoming the first ever nation to defend the Total Africa Nations Championships tournament which is designed for only local based players, Morocco as well dominated the awarding ceremony as they managed to scoop 3 out 4 accolades of the tournament.
Morocco defeated Mali in the final 2-0 thanks to super headers from Abdelmouna Boutouil and Ayoub El Kaabi.
On the awarding ceremony, Raja Casablanca forward Soufiane Rahim managed to win the Top scorer accolade and Best player of the tournament.
The 24 old player scored 5 goals from six games, two brace against Uganda and Cameroon plus a goal against Zambia at the quarter stage.
Anas Zniti, another Raja Casablanca player won the best goalkeeper gong of the tournament, A 32 year old goalie managed to put up 4 clean sheets performance in 6 games and shipping in only 3 goals.
Mali national football team won the Fair play award.
