CAF referees committee has appointed FIFA badge holder Kenyan Referee, Peter Waweru Kamaku to officiate the final game of Total Africa Nations Championships 2021, pitted between Mali against defending Champions, Morocco at Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Cameroon.

Waweru is a lecturer of Jomo Kenyatta University specialised in Agriculture and Technology.

He officiated the quarter final game when Mali overcame Congo Brazaville in penalty shoot outs (5-4) after goalless draw in regulations time.

Waweru will be assisted by his compatriot, Gilbert Kipkoech Cheruiyot as first assistant referee, Carine Atezambongo (Cameroon) as 2nd assistant and Alioum Alioum as fourth official.

Meanwhile Bamlak Tessema Weyesa (Ethiopia) will lead the Video Assistant Referee team being supported by Janny Sikazwe (Zambia) and Elvis Guy Noupue Nguegoue (Cameroon).

Mali will hope to dethrone the favourites Morocco in the epic of todays final.

Morocco want to win their second successive title to become the first very country to do and go tie on titles (3) with DR Congo.
