Confederation of African Football Associations has revealed date for group draws of 2023 Africa Nations Championship.
The draws will take place on Saturday 1st October 2022 in capital of Algiers in Algeria.
Caf increased teams from 16 tot18, that will be participating in seveth edition which kicks start on 13th January until 4th February 2023.
Morocco are defending champions of the tournament which is eligible for only players plying their trade in domestic league in respective countries.
All the confirmed 18 Countries includes below.
*East and central Zone – Uganda, Ethiopia and Sudan.
*Southern Zone – Madagascar, Angola and Mozambique
*Central Africa Zone – DR Congo, Congo and Cameroon.
*Western A Zone – Senegal,. Mauritania and Mali
*Western B Zone – Niger, Ghana and Ivory Coast
*North Africa Zone – Morocco, Libya and Algeria (Host).
