Following the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive meeting held yesterday via a video conference, a number of key decisions were take.
Including rescheduling the 2019/20 CAF continental Inter Clubs competitions and the 2020 African Nations Championships.
The CAF Champions League and Confederation cup semi-finals whichwere slated to take place later this months of September,African football governing have reversed their decision andcome up withnew dates.
The 1st legs of the TotalCAF Champions League will be played on(17th – 18th) next month (October) and the 2nd legs on (23rd – 24th ) with the final played on November 6. 2020.
And finals will take place on 25th thesame months and games played in Morocco.
Meanwhile, the 2020 African Nations Championships which were scheduled to take place this year between 4 -25 April 2020, have been postponed to 16th January up to 7th February 2021 and will take place in Cameroon.
The CHAN tournament is only meant to be played by the players playing in their local leagues.
