Confederation of African football association has come out on Wednesday 29th July to release new dates of total CAF Champions league semi final fixtures with new format.
The semi finals will be played over two legs as return to origin format from the previous one leg which Caf had communicated earlier on.
The first leg is set to be played either 25 or 26 September in Morocco and for return leg slated on 2nd or 3rd October in Cairo Egypt.
And the final match will either be played on 16th or 17 October 2020.
Two Egyptian giants, Zamalek SC, Al Ahly will be taking on Moroccan outfits Raja Casablanca and Wydad Casablanca respectively.
If Zamalek and Al Ahly reach on the finals, the final will be played in Egypt and if its a Raja – Wydad final will be played in Morocco.
In case of final were by, its pitted between a team from Morocco and Egypt, it will be played on a neutral ground.
Caf as well has asked its member countries to start submiting in their bids to ask to host the final of CAF Champions league.
Then for Total Caf Confederation Cup remains unchanged.
The semi finals will be played over one leg in Morocco on 22nd September 2020 and final on 27 September.
Egyptian Club Pyramids Football Club will play against Guinea’s Horoya AC at Stade Mohammad V while second final is pitted between two Moroccan clubs Berkane and Hassania Agadir at Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium.
The final was supposed to be played in May 202 but due to Covid-19 outbreak, it has been put on hold.
