CAF CC: Raja Casablanca edge JS Kabylie to clinch second title.

Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca hold on their nerves to defeat Algerian JS Kabylie in the finals of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup played at Cotonou – Benin to clinch their 2nd title in history.

Soufiane Rahim and Ben Malango scored for Raja Casablanca as Zakaria Boulahia Mohammed grabbed the consolation for JS Kabylie.

Arjoune picked up Rahim with a long ball from the center half and controlled rolled the keeper to put ball in empty net as early 6th minute.

Congolese striker Malango doubled Raja lead in 14th minute thanks to Soukhane’s cross.

Zakaria Boulahia reduced the deficit to 2-1 when the second had just started.

Raja Casablanca were reduced to 10 men after Omar Arjoune who contributed to the goal opener raised a high boot and was shown matching orders.

The ‘green Eagles’ as fondly referred added a second CAF Confederation Cup title to their cabin since clinching the maiden one in 2018.
