Benjamin Ochan targets Kenyan Premier League title after extending his contract with AFC Leopards.

Uganda Cranes custodian, Benjamin Ochan has Officially extended his contract by one year with Kenya Premier League giants, AFC Leopards.

Ochan joined the Igwe in July 2019 from Kabwe warriors (Zambia) and last season he was one of the goalkeepers in the Kenyan league having made 21 league appearances for the Leopards and made 15 clean sheets before the league was ended abruptly in March due to Covid-19 pandemic.

After extending his contract which would see him play for the Den until 2021, is targeting the best goalkeeper gong and winning the 2020/21 league.

“feel Ingwe inside me and I am happy to be part of this family. It is good to be in here and I am looking forward to being the best keeper in the league and also help my team win the Football Kenya Federation Premier League,” Ochan told club website.

Head coach Anthony Kimani is excited about Ochan extending his contract as rates him highly.

“The contract renewal is a big boost to the team as he is a very important member of the squad and arguably the best keeper in the league at the moment. This brings continuity and consistency in the team, an important factor as we push to better our performance. Said Coach Kimani.

“He also brings leadership, stability and guidance in the dressing and he will complement our captain,” he added.

Ochan has previously played for SC Villa, Victoria University (defunct), KCCA FC, Bloemfontein Celtics and Kabwe warriors
