Simba SC 1 -0 Azam FC
Simba SC needed a sole one goal from Mozambique import star, Luis Miquissone to down Azam FC in mouthwatering match played at MajiMaji stadium in Ruvuma Southern part of Tanzania to book a 2021 Azam Sports Federation Cup Final against Young Africans.
Miquissone scored in 89′ to send the Simba SC fans at fully packed MajiMaji stadium into jubilations.
Uganda duo of right back Nicolas Wadada and goalie Mathias Kigonya played the entire game on the side of Azam FC.
Meanwhile another Ugandan midfielder, Taddeo Lwanga was in Simba SC’s midfield as they clinched a vital victory over ice cream makers.
Yesterday, 25th June 2021 African Young had to tussle it out with Biashara FC (1-0) also to qualify for the final.
Simba SC are the defending Champions of this year’s cup and hope to defend it against their archi rivals, Young African in ‘Kariakoo derby.’
