Namuwongo Blazers Kenyan Shooting Guard Kenneth Wachira has signed for Burundian side Dynamo.
Wachira is the second Nam Blazers player to sign for Dynamo after Small forward David Deng Dikong in this transfer window.
He is the latest player to leave the club ahead of a reported great trek, with a couple of players citing financial constraints, reports yet to be confirmed by this Website.
Ariel Okall has been vocal while expressing his discontent on social media since leaving the club.
Daniel Najja Juuko retired to concentrate on coaching while Chris Omanye and Collin Kasujja are reportedly heading out as well.
Wachira joined the Blazers midway last season from Kenya Ports Authority, a season after he was named the MVP of the Kenyan League.
And he made his Namuwongo debut at YMCA with a bang, shooting 7 for 14 from outside the three-point arc in a 64-52 win over UPDF Tomahawks.
His time was however limited during the crucial finals series against City Oilers due to FUBA’s foreign-player rule.
He started 8 of 12 games last season, averaging 11.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.
