AFCON U20 Zonal Qualifiers: Mayanja names final 24 man squad traveling squad to Sudan.

Uganda Hippos (Under 20  national team) interim head coach and Uganda Cranes legend, Jackson Mayanja has named a final 24 man traveling squad for the forthcoming Afcon Under 20 zonal  Qualifiers in Sudan.

Only three players who were part of the squad that played in final tournament have been maintained in the traveling squad and these includes Isma Mugulusi, Wabyona Faizal and goalkeeper, Ssenyondwa Dennis.

The tournament kick off on 28th October and will run untill 11th November in Sudan.

Uganda Hippos is piited in group B alongside Tanzania and Ethiopia.

Uganda will kickoff title defence against Tanzania a day after official kickoff.

The top two group leaders in each group will qualify to semi finals and finalists earn an automatic ticket to play in the final tournament which will be hosted in Morocco next year.
