2023 AFCONQUganda: Niger holds Uganda Cranes at home.

*Uganda Cranes 1 – 1 Niger

Niger holds Uganda to a 1-all draw on match day two of 2023  African Cup of Nations Qualifiers at St mMary’ stadium.

Milton Karisa had given Uganda Cranes a lead in at half time after his attempted cross went into back of the net.

Amadou Aabao brought the game at level in 67th minute with belter that cought Charles Lukwago off the line.

Micho made some there’d changes in the starting line from the team that started Algeria game.

Aziz Kayondo started in for Isaac Muleme at the leftback whereas Bobosi Byaruhanga started in midfumid ahead of Marvin Youngman.

Fahda Bayo started as aleading striker for Allan who dropped to the bench.

Uganda Cranes could have scored more than one goals in the first half but all were wasted by Miya Farouk and Emmanuel Okwi.

 

Micho made some changes  in the second half as he brought in Allan Kyambade for Miya Farouk, Allan Okello for Bayo, Isaac Muleme for Gavin and Shaban Mohammad for Karisa.

Uganda Cranes still remain at the bottom of group F with a win from two games.
