2023 AFCONQ: Algeria edge Tanzania in Daresalaam

Algeria continued to show dominance in group F of 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers after registering a commandable victory over Taifar Stars of Tanzania in a game played at famous Benjamin Mkapa stadium.

Desert Foxes goals came from Amir Bensebain and Mohammed Amoura in 45+2′ and 89th minute respectively.

The victory took Algeria to a tally of six (6) points collected from opening two games  of the campaign.

The other game of group F Uganda drew 1- 1with Niger at St Mary’s stadium which meant that Algeria has created a 4 point gap between them and second placed Niger.

Algeria will play Niger in double header in September

Elsewhere, Uganda will be playing Tanzania in their next match.
